My top colognes of all time...

I know everyone has their opinion but I've been on a really good streak with colognes for the past 15 years. Yes I know there are some really good other colognes out there that are super hard to get but you know what they just come & go. Listed below are colognes that have been around for a long time & they will be around for a long time!

the classics...

1. FAHRENHEIT:
A resolutely contemporary fragrance characterized by a meeting of extremes. Fresh, elegant notes blend in perfect harmony with bolder, more virile overtones to create a scent that is warm, subtle, and distinguished.

2. ETERNITY:
It symbolizes the spirit of today's man: sensitive yet masculine, refined yet strong. "He's a romantic dedicated to basic values - family, work, health, and happiness. A man at ease with himself, in his relationships and with his world," says Klein.

3. POLO SPORT:
A clean, crisp scent that keeps you cool and refreshed. A state-of-the-art collection of skin fitness essentials created for today's active, health-focused man.

4. CLAIBORNE:
Launched by the design house of Liz Claiborne in 1989, It's a blend of basil, coriander, lemon, grapefruit, black pepper and pine needle. Accompanied by base notes of rich amber and sandalwood. It is recommended for daytime wear.

5. ESCAPE:
Made by Calvin Klein in 1993 Escape Is Classified as a refreshing, spicy, lavender, amber fragrance. This masculine scent possesses a blend of mandarin, apple, plum, peach, rose and sandalwood.

6. BANANA REPUBLIC CLASSIC:
Launched in 1995 by Banana Republic and it's recommended for daytime use. Fragrance notes include: citrus, honeysuckle, and bergamot. Also, you can find it starting at $25 & up! The Bachelor Brad Womack approved.

can't go wrong with these...

1. BURBERRY LONDON:
It's a scent for the modern gentleman who exudes natural confidence and a sophisticated manner. This understated and refined amber woody fragrance is fresh and masculine on top, creates a seductive, natural sexiness at its heart, and combines unique base notes to create a timeless, signature scent.

2. 212:
Made by Carolina Herrera, istinct, innovative, elegant, and subtle, this warm fragrance offers a long-lasting sensuality. Inspired by the energy and international allure of New York, 212 Men fragrance is impeccably attired in a bottle inspired by the world's most refined objects. It is packaged in a carton of colors evoking those same key notes of energy, style, and panache.

3. AQUA DI GIO:
Made by Giorgio Armani, it's a masculine fragrance born from the sea, the sun, the earth, and the breeze of a Mediterranean island. Transparent, aromatic, and woody in nature Aqua Di Gio Pour Homme is a contemporary expression of masculinity, in an aura of marine notes, fruits, herbs, and woods.

4. DOLCE & GABBANA:
Introduced in 1994, it's a sign of masculinity, personality, and distinction. As unique as the Dolce & Gabbana image, Pour Homme is a blend of true irony and casualness. A stimulating, dynamic freshness that expresses its personality through citrus notes with a touch of fresh flora and woods.

5. JEAN PAUL GAULTIER:
It indulges in the forbidden. A reminder to them that nothing in life is totally black or white but always a blend. Just as he made the woman in a corset as the symbol and bottle of his feminine fragrance, Jean Paul Gaultier now transforms the man in a sailor's T-shirt into both the symbol and bottle of 'LE MALE.'

6. UNFORGIVABLE:
Made by Sean John, it's essence is inspired by a life lived and savored to the fullest. It's sleek, smooth blend reinvents masculine style with classic luxury. The Unforgivable man is distinctive with a driving passion. It fuses cashmere accord with rum and amber, achieving a peak that is both sexy and seductive.

for the brave, not for everyone but for me...

1. BURBERRY BRIT:
Epitomizing the modern, British man, Brit For Men captures a relaxed elegance and effortless style. This fresh, oriental woody fragrance that blends juicy green mandarin and freshly cut ginger with wild rose and spicy hints of cedarwood to create a confident, sexy, masculine scent.

2. GUCCI:
It's the essence of the Gucci Man. A luxurious blend of spices, rare woods, aromatic amber, and leather, Gucci Pour Homme is a truly masculine, seductive, and contemporary fragrance.

3. ANGEL:
It's the first perfume for men by Thierry Mugler, offers an unexpected shock of woody and fiery notes. When creating Angel Men, Thierry Mugler was inspired by a vision of an imaginary hero moving through a legendary universe in which the past, present, and future merge.

4. VERA WANG:
Created for a man of taste and refinement, Vera Wang For Men is a masculine, seductive, aromatic oriental, designed to elicit desire, emotion and passion.
The fragrance begins with an unexpected burst of freshness created by green mandarin leaf and crisp yuzu zest. Building character and depth the fragrance is then layered with the enveloping embrace of nutmeg, leather and anise, and finished with a smooth blend of sandalwood and warm tobacco.

5. GAULTIER²
Gaultier² expresses the power of the encounter between two people, like two forces that must come together and become one. Gaultier² returns to the grand art of Haute Perfumery and blends three simple base notes of amber (for its mystery), musc (for its skin-like warmth), and vanilla (for its evocative sensuality), these ingredients fuse together to go beyond gender distinctions for the ultimate power of attraction.

6. L'EAU BLEUE D'ISSEY:
Two words...sex panther! An active, sophisticated masculine fragrance that embodies with atlas cedar, blue Lebanon cedar & gaiac wood. Incredibly adds a warm, clean & sexy touch and embraces the personality & charisma of each user. It's discontinued now so you're gonna have to do some work to get it. It's the perfect cologne for an evening of dressing casual and an outdoor temperature of under 68 degrees.

When I saw the title of this blog...my first thought was Eternity. So glad to see it was there. I'll never forget that smell...it is definitely awesome, and I would still buy it for a man.
