It's hot everywhere. I lost five pounds just sitting in the two hour train ride to Innsbruck. I don't know if I can take it. Also, everyone eats & drinks outside cause the kitchens inside make it too hot!

If you ever forget your copy of USA Today (with Bush on the cover) in Germany at the bar just leave it there!
After drinking those two Beck's to smooth me out before I get on the two hour train ride to Innsbruck Austria I saw my train arrive, paid my tab and forgot the paper I bought in Chicago. I was about to turn back and get it until I heard "f@ck Bush, blah, blah, blah, hof, du hast, ich will, Bush". On that not I kept on trucking and got on my train. I learned quickly that from here on out don't engage in talks about politics in America with the natives UNLESS I'm wearing my "Obamamos 2008" t-shirt!

Beer is a lot stronger here in Germany...
So I am able to chill out now and wait for my train to arrive in two hours, it's beer-thirty. For now atleast I only ordered what looked familiar. There was NO Coors Light but I did manage to grab a Beck's (kiss my ass, it looked familiar). I ended up having two of them and was really buzzed. I thought maybe it was the elevation but just realized their booze is stronger.

I'm now at a really freaken big train station & I wanna go home...
Okay, I made it from the airport in Munich to their really big train station. Now, I need to find the platform to catch a two hour train ride to Innsbruck Austria. This is where I really would like my phone to be working cause I have to call Andria & tell her what time I get in. I went to one of the million T-Mobile pay phones they have here & tried to put Euros in it to call her but the problem was is I had no clue how much the call would be, they didn't accept credit cards & I didn't know the country code...I'm screwed! I went into a cellphone or should I say "handy" dealership (f'n Europeans) to try to buy a cellphone but the dude was pretty cool when I told him my situation and he just sold me a phone card to call America & gave me the correct country code to dial. I was able to call out, let Andria know what time I got in & my nerves were a bit smoother...time for a beer.
I just got to Munich & my phone doesn't work...
Ok, when you turn on your phone & your far from home you want it to work properly. We'll I turned it on and it said "SIM card rejected". Not the message you wanna get when you are needing to call and make arrangements to get picked up, etc. It's a good thing my fiance left me some pretty detailed instructions on where to go when I get out of the airport. NOTE: I've been in Germany for 30 minutes & I've already seen like five men & womens underwear shops called "Palmers". I guess it's our Victoria's Secret but with dude stuff...weird.
